Driving in Canada? Some road signs for your information and very important rules.
1. ALWAYS yield the way to the emergency vehicles if they have sirens/lights on.
2. Always use seatbelts. Buckle your kids.
3. Car seats (under 40 lbs) and booster seats (under 75 lbs or 10 years of age) are mandatory for kids.
4. You are not allowed to smoke in your car while driving with kids.
5. If you are stopped by the police while driving in Canada, stay seated in your car and switch the engine off. Wait for further instructions form the police officer. Do not attempt to do anything yourself. Always be polite and well mannered. Never try to bribe the police officers, or try to pay the fine directly to him. Attempting to bribe a police officer is a very serious crime in Canada.
6. Always carry your papers with you: license, insurance, ownership or rental car agreement.
